A Recap Of My February Goals

After reviewing January last month, I’ve decided to carry that on into February. It’s good to keep track of your progress each month. February has been a mixed month for my targets. Some of them I smashed out the park. Others I crashed and burned. That’s the typical life of a blogger. Sometimes you win, sometimes it just doesn’t work out. February is a shorter month, and so it’s inevitable that views will be slightly down on last month. That’s my excuse anyway! It hasn’t been my best month, but I’ve done the best I could with the time that I had, and that’s all that matters. My February…

Blogmas Day Twenty: My Goals for 2019

Yesterday I looked back on 2018, you can read all about it here! For today’s post I am going to be making some goals for the new year. At the start of my Blogmas journey I made some goals for December, which have had mixed results so far. I have decided that I will set myself some targets for 2019 so that I can motivate myself to achieve everything that I want to achieve, and make the year one to remember. Here are some of the targets that I have set myself… Be More Active On Social Media This is something that I really struggle to achieve on…

    Blogmas Day Fifteen: Bullet Journal

Yesterday I wrote about decorating my Christmas tree. Today I will be veering away from the Christmas theme, just for one day. I recently decided that it was time to get my life on track. My organisational skills have often been lacking and my busy daily schedule can mean that my blog suffers from it. I’m sure every blogger has experienced the feeling of not having enough hours in the day to get everything done. There’s so much that needs doing. From promoting posts on social media, to writing your content, there’s so much that goes into blogging. I decided that it was time to take action. So I…

Blogmas Day One: Introduction To Blogmas 2018

It’s the 1st of December! Which means…Christmas is soon approaching. It’s considered the busiest time of the whole year. I’ll be buying Christmas presents last minute and wrapping them with seconds to spare. I have a one year old son who gives me very little time to organise Christmas. Just to top it off, I plan on moving into a new house in the weeks leading up to the big day. So what smart move did I recently make? I chose to commit to Blogmas! I must be mental, but the idea of writing a post everyday in December was very exciting. Will I be able to complete it? I…

Things I Wish I Knew Before I Started Blogging

When I started my blog in April 2017 I had no idea what I was letting myself in for. I was very naive in thinking that blogging was just writing a post and then publishing it online. The reality of the blogging world was so much different, and I have been shocked by just how much goes in to creating a successful blog. There has been times when I’ve wanted to give up and leave it as a memory to read back on in years to come, but my passion for creating something special has brought me back. I’m going to be looking back on things that I would do…

2017 – The Good, The Bad and the Mentally Disturbing

Follow my blog with Bloglovin So we are coming to the end of another year. What a year it’s been. So many highs and far too many lows. I’ve never experienced a year with so many changes. My life has completely been turned upside down, shook up until it’s dizzy and then kicked in the balls for good measure. Here’s a review of 2017. Life Changing News We start in January, and I began the year with an easy one. I was given the news that I was HAVING A BABY!! Not so easy then. I completely bricked my pants and thought that I’d basically ruined my life.…
